The Department of Mathematics is offering two types of student friendly Math Camps for the Summer of 2017. The camps are led by two instructors from the department with instructional assistance provided by math tutors. Math Boot Camp is intended for students who need a review of Algebraic topics for placement into a college-level mathematics course. The Jump Start camp is designed for students who plan to re-take the Math Placement Test. Working with instructors and tutors, students will refresh their knowledge of Algebra and Pre-Calculus topics. Many of the students who participate in Jump Start are able to place into Calculus I.
